Al Quoz, Dubai Overview

Al Quoz, also pronounced as Al Goze, happens to be a predominantly residential area located in Western Dubai. It is well known for a number of Art Galleries with the better ones taking up space meant for warehouses in the industrial section of the area. Tourists eager to look and discover masterpieces are often seen wandering around and checking out different galleries here. The top draw at Al Quoz is the ArtintheCity Art Bus operated by the Jamjar Gallery that takes the eager visitors on a tour through the best art galleries around the city.

The warehouse space of Al Quoz  is indeed a misnomer but the tourists are happy to discover art & culture of Dubai being kept alive here. With some of the top art houses such as the Gallery Isabelle Van Den Eynde and the Third Line flourishing amongst the heat and dust of the warehouse areas provide ample space for the artists to showcase their works.  The dirty motor garages and laborer accommodations also conceal a host of other attractions including the quaint cafes, excellent eateries, hot music scenes and working out areas. Shaped like a long rectangle and sandwiched between Al Khail & Sheikh Zayed roads, Al Quoz is also home to many wealthy Emiraties of Dubai.
