Unity Community Gardens, Dallas Overview
Unity Community Gardens is located in the Round Rock area and was founded in 2010 by Neighborhood Harvest Project, a non-profit organization. This is an all-organic garden that promotes community building through learning and growing food. It is run and managed by volunteers who aim at sustainable living.
Unity Community Gardens is on a spread of about 2-acres and the allotment is done on a plot basis where each gardener tends to their respective plot. A part of the harvest is donated to Hope Alliance Women’s Shelter. The garden organizes various educational and voluntary events around the year that include free presentations, workshops, and also potlucks.
