The idea of the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir was initiated in the 1980s by a group of Haribhaktos however it was in July of 1991 that the physical manifestation of the mandir became a reality. With the increasing popularity of the mandir, the monthly Satsang has been upgraded to weekly ones.
