Suoi Hoa, Da Nang Overview

Suoi Hoa is an eco-tourism site, situated around 33 kilometres from the city of Da Nang. Suoi Hoa is a part of the quaint Phu Tuc Village in the Hoa Phu commune. Cosseted in rivers, hills, and mountains it is a natural escape worth visiting. Suoi Hoa is also a popular picnic spot with a natural swimming pool, botanical gardens, wildflowers along the trails and myriads of outdoor activities. It is a serene place to rewind and rejuvenate in Da Nang.

Suoi Hoa is home to lush greenery and perennial streams. In addition, it is a delightful resort where people can come and stay for a few days in tranquillity.
Waterfalls, a diverse range of flora, and floating bridges give this place an enchanting aura. Since Suoi Hoa lies in close proximity to  Street 604, the provincial road which links Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh Road, it is well connected to the major parts of Da Nang.

Landscape of Suoi Hoa

Suoi Hoa is laden with greenery, and the gentle Hoa Stream and Lo Dong Stream add to its magnificence. While here, one can witness and swim in the depths of the several water bodies that flow through Suoi Hoa. From the artificial Ru Ri waterfall to the Toc Tien waterfall, this resort is like a slice of paradise for everyone!

Since the pools and lakes are relatively shallow, Suoi Hoa is also appropriate for children. The serenity of the place is also ideal for spending a couple of leisurely hours under the cool shade of the trees with a good book or play some fun board games. Apart from these, Suoi Hoa is also home to the Thien Thai waterfall, the artificial Thac Ha waterfall, the Bong Lai Lake, and the Dong Muc Lake.

The suspension bridge that runs over one of the vast lakes in this resort is a great place for photography and it also provides a stunning view of the surrounding areas, which include the Rong Houses.

Food in Suoi Hoa

While spending a few days amid the mountains, one gets to gorge on the exotic dishes found here, some of which include the rare fried snails served with lemongrass, sesame salt rice, Com Lam, bamboo shoots, and Mang Dien Truc mixed sesame. The Ta Tiene Wine is one of the highlights of the mountainous and rustic food items of Suoi Hoa.

History

In former years, Suoi Hoa used to be a battleground in Da Nang, especially for the Quang Nam province, before it was transformed into a wonderful resort. The name ‘Suoi Hoa’ roughly translates to ‘flowers’ in Vietnamese, which is appropriate for the resort lined with flower beds, with thousands of flowers giving the place an enchanting aura.

How To Reach Suoi Hoa

It takes an hour or a little longer to get to Suoi Hoa from Da Nang by car via QL1A. Using your private transportation is the best option as public transport options are not quite ubiquitous.
