Dua Beach: The closest beach to the closest to the city centre. It has a lush green cover, soft brown sand and large teal blue sea.

Chinh Beach: The main beach in Van village is Chinh beach. This place has the most settlements in the entire area. If one is intrigued to know more about the culture of Van then this is the best place to learn all about it. The people here are very hospitable and earnest. It is also a great place to spend an evening swimming and eating. There is also a dedicated area for campers here. 

Xoan Beach: This beach is best known for a peaceful sunset in a tranquil place. Swimming isn't recommended because the waters here are not as calm compared to the other two beaches. This place has a majestic view with beautiful mountains in the backdrop. One can also cook and set up a camping site on the beach. 

Best Time to Visit

The rainfall level is the highest from the month of September through January. So, the ideal time to visit Van village in Da Nang is from February to May when the weather is comparatively pleasant. Summers that begin in June and lasts up to August can also be a great time. However, the place is also very crowded during this period since many tourist visit Da Nang in summers.

How To Reach Van Village Da Nang

Boat: The most convenient way to reach Van village is by boat. From the coast of Nguyen Tat Thanh Rd,  rent a boat to Van village that takes around 30 minutes. They also provide life vests and take utmost safety precautions. 

Treking: One can drive to the Hai Van pass on motorcycles. At the foot of the pass near a cafe, park the bikes for a minimal cost and start trekking up the mountain to Van Village.

Passing through the tunnel: The most adventurous way to reach Van village is through the tunnel. This tunnel is a working tunnel from where a train passes every 30 minutes. Before entering, ask the station guard the schedule. For safety purposes, it is advisable that the number of people entering the tunnel should not exceed 10. Everyone must walk close together and in case one sees a train coming, enter safety slot.
