Busch-Reisinger Museum, Boston Overview

Busch-Reisinger Museum is one of the three museums that comprise the Harvard Art Museums. Located on the grounds of Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, it holds artwork from German-speaking countries of central and northern Europe. Busch-Reisinger museum was founded in 1901 and that time it was German centric.

It now has collections in the form of paintings and sculptures and is the only one its kind in North America. It holds medieval art plaster casts’ founding collection, Flentrop pipe organ, and Bauhaus related materials amongst many other such intricate collections. Busch-Reisinger Museum also has paintings by Lovis Corinth, Max Liebermann, and Gustav Klimt, making it a must-go place for historians and artists alike.
