Boston Harbour Islands, Boston Overview

Boston Harbour Islands is a collection of islands and a peninsula that are ideal for a day away from city life. This stretch of over 1400-acres has a plethora of options for all types of people. Be it hiking, picnic in the sun, laying around the beach, or historical inquisitiveness, Boston Harbour Islands have it all.

A total of 34 islands can be hopped onto using a shuttle boat. It is also the home to Boston Light, United States’ second oldest working lighthouse; and Fort Warren, which served as an entrance to the harbour and is now a museum too. There also is Fort Andrews, Deer Island, and Nut Island which are worth a visit.
