The Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya temple is home to some of the largest statues of the many forms of Buddha, primarily the Buddha Maitreya. The temple itself has five sections, with prayer halls and rooms filled with art and sculpture. Tourists wanting to experience another religion can go to this picturesque temple.There is also a vegetarian restaurant within the premises, in addition to a souvenir shop and a clinic. Tourists may take photos within the vihara, which is usually crowded on weekends and holidays.
