Environment Protection Efforts

Launched in 2008 as the United Arab Emirate’s first private zoo, the Emirates Park Zoo features many interactive activities and attractions for the entire family. It works to build and maintain a connection between the community and wildlife, nature and the environment.

The initiative also aims to encourage and inspire young children and adults to preserve the environment, with the help of the exhibits, research and outreach programmes for successive generations. The zoo attempts to protect the diversity of wildlife by slowing down the rate of extinction of certain species while providing ecological services and care needed by the animals.
