The Capital Gate is Arabia's very own Leaning Tower. Driving down Khaleej Al Arabi Street, one can witness the modern architectural marvel of Abu Dhabi. The Capital Gate often regarded as the flagship building of the emirate.
The glittering 35-storyed skyscraper located in southeast part of city is the iconic building in Abu Dhabi, the Capital Gate. Leaning westward at about 18 degrees, the grand structure holds the Guinness world record for being the 'Furthest Leaning Man Made Tower' in the world ( almost 4 times more tilted than the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa).
The place, other than being a visual attraction, also houses a luxurious 5-star Hyatt Hotel and serves as a centre point of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec). Designed by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company, this 160-metre (524.9 ft) tall building is a must visit, especially at night when it's lit up magnificently.
