Best Time To Visit Andaman and Nicobar Islands

October and May is the best time to visit Andaman & Nicobar Islands as the weather is bright and pleasant during this time. The Monsoons (July to September) are not quite recommended as the waves are unpredictable and specific regions also receive heavy downpours.

Total Daily Budget for 7N, 8D: INR 3600

Daily Budget is around 600 INR per day. (Excluding accommodation, including food, local transport and activities - not adventure activities)

You’ll be surprised to know that most of the tourist spots in Andaman are natural spots. Thus, these spots are free to enter, which would be saving you a lot of money. However, you’ll be eventually paying for food and adventure activities such as snorkelling and scuba diving. These activities are highly recommended when in Andaman.

Ross Island is practically 2km from Port Blair. Hence people choose to stay in Port Blair and visit Ross Island for a day’s trip and return at night.

Travel Back from Port Blair to Bangalore

The return journey to Bangalore would be around 2 hours and 40 minutes of air time. So if you plan on taking a flight in the latter part of the day, there’s enough time to plan an outing in the day time as well. You can visit the Forest Department Museum to enlighten yourself with facts about nature and visit Mubarak Hyper Market for some pocket-friendly flea market shopping (also a great place to take back souvenirs for your loved ones).

Now that we've jotted down a doable island trip for you start packing and let us know your experiences! Also, if you think we missed out on any Andaman Gem, let us know in the comments below!
