Also known as the Port Blair airport, Veer Savarkar International Airport is the leading airport 2 km south of Port Blair and is named after Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The services of the airport are shared with the Indian Navy. It has a single runway of 3290 m and a single terminal with two gates and no aerobridges at all.



Local flight operators that are operational here include Jet Airways and Air India. There is also Air Sahara and Air Deccan that run frequent flights to Chennai and Delhi.
