Subramanya Swamy temple adorns several pristine idols, including several smaller sections of the Saibaba temple, Shiva Linga - Parvati temple, Lakshmi Temple, Hanuman Temple, Ganapathi Temple and Dattatreya Temple. The main porch of the temple, often referred to as a mandapam is supported by sturdy pillars fashioned out of stone. It also features an enormous banyan tree, strategically situated at the northern end of the temple which is a region dedicated to the Navagrahas (planet deities central to Hinduism). Subramanya Swamy Temple is regularly renovated using the funds provided by donors.

History of the Temple

The Subrahmanya Swamy Temple dating back to over 300 years, is of great historical importance which was initially developed by neighbouring villagers. Under the supervision of K Sudhakar Reddy, who functions under the Endowment Department, the temple is maintained by a specially assigned group of trust board members led by TG Srinivasan, the chairman. Surrounded by vast groves of banyan trees, the Subramanya Swamy Temple is also known as Marri trees, an inspired name from the surrounding location.
