Sangla, located in North Indian State of Himachal Pradesh does offers North Indian cuisine. However, with large number of Buddhists residing there, one will mostly find dhabas serving famous Tibetan dishes like Thukpa, momos and dumplings etc. Apart from that, eating joint options are quite limited.

Although the Momos are great here. the overpriced food is what visitors complain about. Similar food can be found elsewhere, if not better. The decorations give a Tibetan feel to it, though.

Apart from good hotel facilities, Cafe 42 is known for it's simple, yet unique, food. The limited variety includes snacks like Maggi & Sandwiches to main course Pastas. The host is one of the most amiable people you'll ever come across!

Extremely cheap food makes this place a perfect joint to dine at. Must tries include the Momos, Thukpa and Noodles. The interiors are a little shabby though, and that's the only let down.
