Tijuana Estuary, San Diego Overview

The Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve is a popular nature reserve located in 3rd Street and the Caspian way in the Imperial Beach. It is one of the few salt marshes in California which is an excellent Breeding, Feeding and Nesting ground for over 370 species of migratory as well as native birds. There are many places where people can stay. Generally, people prefer going for walks around the estuary at the wake of dawn and evening as well. One can go hiking here ad spot these birds quite often. This is an internationally know place for Bird watching and sight-seeing.
