Aquatica San Diego

Aquatica San Diego is a gorgeous waterpark in Chula Vista, California. SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment owns this seasonal waterpark that is home to exotic animals, thrilling rides, and various luxurious facilities that a resort serves. There is an endless water play in this south-seas themed park, and the presence of exotic animals like Caribbean flamingos, etc., adds an educational aspect to this waterpark.

The park features dozens of slides and rides. There are some major attractions such as the speedy Taumata Racer, which is an ultra-fast racing water slide that will sweep you down a 375-feet slide, roundabout a 180-degree turn, and along various tunnels before racing you up to the finish line. Further, there's a wave pool called Big Surf Shores, which is among the largest wave pools in Southern California with 500,000 gallons of water to swim in and a sandy beach for taking a relaxing sun-bath. For those people with adventurous spirits, there's also a HooRoo Run where there are two open-air and two enclosed slides that take riders 80-feet down. The park is open daily in summers and on weekends in the year-fall.
