Red Bull Hangar-7 is an aviation museum located at the Salzburg Airport. It houses a unique collection of historical aircraft fleets from the Flying Bulls and Formula 1 race cars. The museum not only has aircraft but it also features a restaurant, two bars, a cafe and an outdoor lounge.
It was inaugurated in 2003. It is not only the still-airworthy aircraft collection that attracts tourists, but also the unique architecture of the building. Hangar-7 also offers event space for art displays and exhibitions. Visitors can enjoy a variety of different foods at the four eating establishments that the building contains, which include Restaurant Ikarus, two bars and a cafe. Hangar-7 also has an Outdoor Lounge which serves as a meeting and resting point for guests.
