Haus der Natur is a 7000-square-meter science museum in Salzburg. Beautifully curated exhibitions and displays are distributed into two buildings on eight levels. It also has an all-interactive Science Centre where visitors can conduct experiments.
It was originally founded by Eduard Paul Tratz in 1924 as the “New Natural History Museum”. The aquarium containing 38 display tanks, the reptile zoo containing many live lizards and snakes, and the natural history displays are some of the main attractions in Haus der Natur.
