Monsoon season in Sagardwip lasts from June till September. The south-west monsoon winds brings rain in abundance and being a marshy area, the whole place becomes muddy. Transportation to and from the island is disrupted because the ferry rides depend on tides and ocean current. Ideally, you should avoid travelling to Sagardwip during this time. But the whole place looks completely mesmerizing and the heavy rainfalls are also accompanied by mist which makes Sagardwip look magical.
