Though the entire winter season between the months of October and March is ideal for a visit to Sagardwip, the month of January is the best time to experience this journey. The Ganga Sagar Mela is one of the most popular fairs in the world, and a holy procession of thousands of people take a dip in the Ganga every year at this place. The entire experience is profound.
