Pumdikot Shiva Statue

Pumdikot Shiva Statue sits atop Pumdikot hill above Pokhara, Nepal, at about 1,500 meters elevation. The seated Shiva figure is 51 feet tall and stands on a 57-foot white stupa base, making the full structure 108 feet high, the second tallest Shiva statue in Nepal after the Kailashnath Mahadev Statue near Kathmandu. Completed in late 2021, the statue was cast in Mathura, India, then transported and assembled on site. It is ringed by 108 Shiva lingas and reached by 108 steps. Entry is free, with views of Pokhara Valley, Phewa Lake, and the Annapurna range.
