Tri Trang Beach, Phuket Overview
One of the loveliest beaches of south Patong, Tri Trang beach is the best place for sun-lovers. This 500-metre long north-facing beach has a very open feel as there are no trees along the shore, making it the perfect spot for sunbathing. Located very near to the famous Marriott Merlin Beach Resort, it is a short ride from the Phuket town as well.
Apart from being the popular choice for sunbathing, one can find many traditional Thai massage centres, jet skies, snorkelling spots, kayaking and parasailing activities going on around the beach. There are also a couple of beach chairs to sit and relax, watching the Andaman sea.

1. The Beach Restaurant
Part of the only resort (the Tri Trang Beach Resort) on the Tri Trang Beach, this restaurant on the beachfront serves Thai and international cuisine. The food is average, but the location and prices make up for that.
2. Ta Khai Restaurant
Located at the new Rosewood resort, this place serves excellent Thai food and is an ideal place for a perfect date or dinner outing. One of the most expensive restaurants in the town, the restaurant is designed magnificently.
Other popular options for dining would be the three-pooled Merlin Beach Resort, the sumptuous Baan Yin De, Windsurf restaurant and the most-liked Amari Coral Beach Resort, close to Patong.
