Opened in 1974, Six Flags Great Adventure amusement park is located about 69 miles from New York City and is juxtaposed between Philadelphia and New York City. Sprawling over 210 hectares it has Hurricane Harbor Water Park within its area and is the 2nd largest theme park across the globe.
