Astoria Park, New York City Overview
Astoria Park is one of the few parks in Queen’s borough. The Dutch settled here first, so most of the area has Dutch architecture. It is also one of the oldest and largest parks in the neighbourhood.
Astoria Park offers plenty of hiking and walking trails dot the park, with huge lawns, outdoor tennis courts, bandstand and playgrounds for kids. Indoor pools and basketball courts are also on offer, but the most popular spots are along the riverbank which is the Promenade and shoreline. Outside the park is a shopping street and eateries and restaurants section to indulge freely.
