Hudson River Park is a waterside park on the Hudson River located in the New York City borough of Manhattan. It is a 550-acre park, making it the second-largest park in Manhattan after Central Park.
Hudson River Park has a lot of piers one can visit. For those visiting with children, head to Pier 51 which has a playground with sand play areas. Pier 63 and 64 have some of the most beautiful lawns. Visitors also can enjoy beach volleyball at Pier 25 and go boating in Pier 40 (the largest pier). One can rent a bike at Bike Rent NYC at Pier 84 and go biking through the park while stopping to visit gardens like the Habitat Garden and Bloom Guide.
The park is family-friendly. The Park features four dog runs however, dogs are not allowed on the lawns.
