Netarhat in Winter (November - February)

October isn't a winter month; it has a bridging climate between the monsoon and the winter, which is pleasantly sunny and lukewarm. However, from December the temperature begins to plummet. January is the coldest month of the year, with temperatures around 8°-11°C. There is a different kind of beauty to the crispy cold, mist-covered early mornings of Netarhat winter, and the little bit of warmth when the sun finally shines through the whiteness of the mist. If you are ready to stay under layers and make it through a couple of cold nights, winter mornings in this hill station is worth it.

Netarhat in Monsoon (July - October)

Monsoon arrives by the end of June and takes full shape in July. The continuous rain forms streams and little waterfalls in the cracks between the hills, painting a pretty picture. It is true that during the rainy season, Netarhat is at its most virgin self. So unless you have activities like trekking or hiking planned, this might just be a good time to go.
