Asama Onsen, Matsumoto Overview
A hot spring quarter on the northeastern edge of the city, in use for around a thousand years and historically the bathing district of the Matsumoto domain. It is a 20 minute bus ride from the station rather than a separate trip, which makes it the easy way to end a day at the castle in hot water without leaving town.
