Peterson Automotive Museum, Los Angeles Overview

The Peterson Automotive was the brainchild of American publisher Robert E. Peterson, and is a fantastic collection of famous and notable cars.

LA is paradise for petrol-heads. There are so many amazing cars on the street, and if you failed to catch a glimpse of them, there are two huge museums to view cars from the last 2 collections. The first is the antique Nethercutt, and the second is this, the fabulous Peterson Automotive Museum. The museum has more than a 100 cars on display across 25 galleries. Some of these are extremely famous cars, which many of you would have probably seen on TV. These cars include the famous 1964 Aston Martin DB5 from James Bond : Skyfall, the iconic Batmobile from the 1992 movie Batman Returns, the Disney's favourite Lightning McQueen, and for fans of drifting and Ken Block, his 2011 Ford Fiesta from Gymkhana 3! The museum has educational tours for those who want to get into the intricacies of these spectacular machines, and various dedicated exhibits to different eras and types of cars. And that is still not where the best of the museum is. That is located underground. The Vault, as it is called, is an underground and exclusive collection of some of the rarest and most expensive cars in the world over the last 100 years. A few these are so rare that even the most avid petrol-head would be seeing them for the first time. An additional ticket on top of the museum ticket of needs to be purchased for The Vault. It is highly recommended!
