Local transport in Khasab
The only way to get around in the city is with a car or cab. At Jebel Harim, it is a must to have a four-wheel-drive because the rocky roads and mountains can take a huge toll on normal cars. You can either rent a 4-wheel-drive, for which you require an International Driving Permit. If you do not have one, you can also hire a driver. It is best to rent a car in Muscat at places like Arabia cars or Speedy Oman and drive to Khasab. You can also rent a car from Muscat International Airport.
