Space Center Houston, Houston Overview

The official visitor centre of NASA Johnson Space Center and a Smithsonian Affiliate, Space Center Houston opened in the year 1992. It has, ever since, been visited by large crowds that come to see the numerous permanent as well as traveling exhibits, space artefacts, films, live shows and much more.

The museum frequently organises programs such as Innovation Gateway, Space Center U, Explorer Camps, Human Performance Accelerator Lab so as to educate adults and children about science, technology, math, engineering etc., and also provides the chance to attend some interactive events. There is a gift shop at the museum which offers to the visitors apparel, toys, bags and other souvenirs.
