Glenbrook Park Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course located in the southeast of downtown Houston. This course is overseen by the Houston Parks and Recreation Department. It is a fairly competitive golf course and consists of four different tee sets, challenging golfers of all skills. It features mildly wooded surroundings, water hazards, sand traps, and mature tree lines at the fairways.
Glenbrook Park Golf Course has many risk-reward opportunities that make it a favorable choice for golfers who like to be challenged. It has several water hazards and sand traps within the wooden surroundings, adding up to the challenge. To aid them, they have professional trainers who can guide through the terrain and with the game.
However, this golf course is soon slated to shut down to give way to the Houston Botanic Garden.
