When The Museum of Danang was founded in the year 1989, it was originally located in Le Duan Street. It was further relocated in 24 Tran Phu Street in April 2011. The massive museum exhibits more than 2500 artefacts dating to the bygone events of revolutionary struggles and wars.
The exhibit particularly includes artefacts used by the Vietnamese resistance fighters during the wars with China, France and the US. There are various captured tanks on display, along with memorials to famous freedom fighters of Vietnam.
