Matterhorn Glacier Paradise

The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise is Europe’s highest mountain station at 3883 metres . A part of the Glacier paradise experience, it features an ice palace with eternal ice embellished, extremely vivid ice sculptures and crevasse, a, ice cave, a ski resort, and a cinema lounge.

It offers a spectacular view of the 38-four thousand plus metre peaks and a glacier cave. The Matterhorn Glacier Palace is Located 15 metres underneath the glacier between Klein Matterhorn and Breithorn and is not easily spotted. The only way down is via a lift, a journey worth experiencing on its own. An ice tunnel underground leads to this fable-like ice palace covering sites such as an ice toboggan run, a glacier crevasse and numerous beautiful and delicately detailed ice-based artworks created painstakingly and placed amid soft lighting and calming music. On your journey do not miss the Panorama room, where artists have sculpted the extremely gorgeous local mountain panorama in ice and do stop and make a wish by sticking a coin at the Lucky Buddha corner. 


It is a place of absolute amazement for people of all ages, and especially kids as they see some life-like and other larger-than-life sculptures jump right out of fairy tales such as dragons, the big cats and eagles.
