Varambetta Mosque (Varambetta Makham) is one of the oldest structures in Wayanad district, about 300 years old, located 15 km from Kalpetta. It's one of the more important Muslim religious sites in the area, with Maithali Palli and Juma Masjid nearby. The mosque was built in memory of a Sufi saint and is open to visitors regardless of caste, religion, or ethnicity. An annual festival is held here every March, drawing people from across Wayanad.
