Kajeng Rice Field, Ubud Overview

The resplendent Kajeng Rice Field is part of a looped walk conjoined with the Sari Organic Walk and the Subuk Juwuk Manis Rice Field in Ubud village. The walk starts from the intersection of Jalan Kajeng and Jalan Raya Ubud. It takes you through the Kajeng village and ultimately to the lush green paddy fields on the outskirts of the village.

Enjoy the serene surroundings, take in the local lifestyle, and watch the villagers work in the fields for their bread and butter. You can stop at Sweet Orange Warung, a small cafe on the trail that serves fresh fruit juices, salads, tea, coffee, and Indonesian food. There is free Wi-Fi as well. The full circuit takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. It is a very easy walk along flat plains. Any comfortable clothes are ideal. But there will be sun and humidity, so carrying water, hats, and sunscreen is suggested.
