Pricing: Walk-in classes cost IDR 130,000 per session per person, while 20 classes booking cost IDR 1,400,000 making it IDR 70,000 per session. The Yoga Barn also provides Private sessions for 1- 6 people, which costs IDR 950,000 per student for a class of 60 minutes and increases depending upon the number of students and duration.
2. Naya Studio:
Naya Studio is a spacious and luxurious studio which specialises in group and private sessions. It also offers healing services, along with yoga classes. The design of the place gives it a very homely and cosy feel. Along with life-changing yoga experience, the studio also provides nourishing vegetarian meals, with accommodation facilities. There are multiple retreat packages that you can choose from depending on your requirement.
Pricing: The pricing depends on the package you choose, however, the Yoga and Bali Retreat package ranges from USD 630 for 3 Days, 2 Nights to USD 1549 for 7 Days, 6 Nights. The price of the package also depends on the accommodation type that you choose.
3. Radiantly Alive:
Radiantly Alive is the second-largest yoga studio in Ubud, with well-trained instructors. There are multiple classes that the studio offers and are scheduled throughout the day. The studio is centrally located in Ubud. The studio provides a safe, nurturing and loving atmosphere for those seeking a yoga retreat. There are about 20-40 students in a class, depending on the season, with 8-12 classes scheduled in a day.
Pricing: USD 10 for a single walk-in class, USD 120 for 20 reserved classes. There also unlimited classes available for a week for USD 73. Private session for a person, couple or small group costs around IDR 1,300,000 per student for 60 minutes and increases depending on the number of students.
Fivelements lies amidst the lush and tropical nature of Bali. It is an award-winning wellness resort. The resort specialises in wellness treatment and mind-body practices. The vision of the resort is to restore harmony between nature and human life. Fivelements is highly influenced by local Balinese traditions and culture. It also offers services like yoga, sound healing and expressive arts.
Pricing: The retreat packages start from IDR 32,380,000 for 3 days which includes accommodation, meals, various services of the resort and transportation to the airport.
5. Intuitive Flow:
Intuitive Flow has been in Ubud, providing yoga classes for more than 10 years, and is one of the oldest and well-established studios in the city. The venue has luscious gardens, temples, a jungle view and access to the nearby river. The classes have limited student capacity to a maximum of 50 students, which allows instructors to pay individual attention. The studio also holds regular workshops, however, doesn’t offer private sessions or guidance.
Pricing: Drop-in class costs IDR 130,000 per session, while 15 classes can be attended for IDR 930,000.
6. Ubud Yoga House:
Ubud Yoga House is a relatively smaller and friendlier yoga studio, with a view of nearby rice-paddy fields and the jungle. The place is very relaxing and calming due to the small number of people that attend classes here. The maximum capacity of a session is 23 students, one of the smallest in Ubud, making the experience more personal. Moreover, there are 5 classes are scheduled ina day, which gives people time to relax and enjoy yoga at the same time. Being a small class makes it perfect for beginners. The sessions are designed for people of all ages, levels and body types.
Pricing: Walk-in session costs IDR 150,000 while a package of 20 classes cost IDR 1,400,000. Private session 1-2 students cost IDR 850,000 for 60 minutes and increases depending on the duration and number of students.
7. Taksu Yoga:
Taksu Yoga provides you with a surreal experience, being located in the centre of Ubud. The studio has a huge spa-complex and a view of the nearby stream. 3-4 classes are scheduled in a day depending on the demand. The studio has the smallest class sizes in all of Ubud. The classes are held with a maximum of 6 students.
Pricing: Walk-in class costs IDR 130,000 while a package of 20 classes cost IDR 1,420,000. Private Sessions need to be booked 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability of instructors. The cost of these is USD 80 for 90 minutes per person.
8. Ashtanga Yoga Bali:
The studio holds daily, all-year around yoga sessions and specialises in Ashtanga Mysore. It is located near the picturesque village of Pejeng. The students are taken in for session through an application process, and session for attendance is subject to availability and vacancy. The studio also provides yoga teaching training and Ayurveda facilities. They also have an apprenticeship program. In order to become a part of the class, it is beneficial to do a booking in advance and reserve a seat.
Pricing: USD 100 for 7 days of classes and USD 300 for a month. The studio also provides, for private guidance sessions the pricing for which can be known by contacting the studio.
9. East + West:
The East-West Yoga studio is largely dedicated to teacher training programmes, but also provides a 7-day retreat called the ‘Bhakti Retreat’. The studio aims to combine yoga experiences of the East and the West. The instructors come here from all over the globe. The yoga training takes place in a resort called the Beingsattva, in Ubud.
Pricing: USD 2550, for a shared room and USD 3550 for a private room. The package includes all classes for 7 days and includes meals and accommodation.
10. Titi Batu:
Titi Batu is over-all a fitness and wellness club located in Ubud. It provides services such as Dance classes, Fitness programs, Mind-Body wellness. The Yoga sessions include Pool Yoga, Vinyasa Slow and Hatha Yoga. The sessions are scheduled throughout the week and can be signed up for.
Pricing: Adult Pass- IDR 150,000 for a single session, IDR 500,000 for a weekly pass and IDR 900,000 for a monthly pass.
11. Ubud Yoga Centre:
Ubud Yoga Centre is a modern-contemporary yoga studio, situated on the southern part of Ubud. It has a beautiful river view and offers a wide variety of yoga disciplines to choose from- depending on the age, level, and fitness needs. The centre is well-known for hot yoga and also provides express hot yoga. For people not interested in yoga, the studio offers massages, breathwork, sound healing. The centre is also children-friendly with a playroom, weekend classes and kid’s food menu.
