Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Trivandrum Overview

Sri Chitra Art Gallery is one of Kerala's premier art museums. Established in 1935, it houses an exceptional collection of paintings, sculptures, and artifacts, including 46 original Raja Ravi Varma paintings, alongside traditional and contemporary artworks from India and around the world.

The gallery's collection spans traditional Kerala murals, Tanjore paintings, Mughal and Rajput miniatures, Tibetan and Oriental art, along with works by leading Indian artists. Together, these exhibits showcase the diversity and evolution of Indian art across centuries.
