Chacha Nehru Children's Museum was formally inaugurated in 1881 and fell under the spectrum of Kerala State Council for Child Welfare. Located inside the Kerala Legislative Assembly Complex, the legislative Museum opened up to the public on May 5, 2006. It is oriented towards encouraging the public to learn more about democracy as it preserves the history of Kerala State Legislative. It also consists of a model assembly hall, photo gallery, mini theatre, library, research centre, multimedia hall, and so on.

7. Keralam - Museum of History and Heritage

Keralam - Museum of History and Heritage is to be the governing body that looks over the restoration, maintenance and elevation of all museums situated in the state of Kerala. The government of Kerala dictates that Keralam Museum needs "to act as nodal, consulting and executing agency in the museums' related sectors".
