This place appeals to both history enthusiasts and the piligrims. The Ranganatha swamy temple is a beautiful place with intricate carvings. This ancient temple is also near to River Cauvery. The gove (Read More)rnment currency printing press is also a not-to-miss touirist attraction. The retail outlet of mysore sandal soap is also present in the same place. The place is also good to buy mysore silk sarees. There will be a number of retail stores. I found the prices a little hiked, but they are worth it. Tipu sultan?s museum is a best place for history enthusiasts. The grave and the body where Tipu?s was found dead also take you back to the history.
