Hang gliding from the top of the cliff is an option available for the adventure junkies as you get a different perspective of the beach and the people sunbathing on the shores. 

To get to the beach, you can drive up the historic highway 101 to reach the north part of the beach that runs adjacent to the highway. This allows for a quick stop as you drive by with free parking available right along the side of the highway.
