San Diego Zoo, San Diego Overview

San Diego Zoo is a not-for-profit wildlife sanctuary in Balboa Park in the North of downtown San Diego, California. It is an abode to varied flora and fauna. It has over 3,500 rare and endangered animals that represent over 650 species and subspecies of wildlife. Moreover, there is a notable collection of botanical species featuring above 700,000 exotic plants.

There is an entertaining and educational adventure trip called the Inside Look tour. This two-hour tour inside the zoo is great for a family outing. Visitors are escorted into the zoo in special deluxe carts. This tour is for visitors of all ages. In the zoo, you can spot giraffes, polar bears, koalas, baboons, flamingos, & more. You can bring your camera to capture these astonishing creatures.

You can also dine in the zoo. There is restaurant dining in Albert's restaurant, casual dining in Busy Bee Café, Sydney's Grill, lagoon terrace, and more. Also, there are quick bite spots like the Zoo brew, The Pagoda, etc. There are several exotic beverages, including cocktails and beers. For kids, there is a vegetarian kids meal also. All in all, it's a fun place for the whole family.
