Mt. Laguna, San Diego Overview

Mt Laguna is an arid place located around forty-five miles from San Diego and can be commuted by bus or car easily. This peak is around 6000ft above sea level and is situated in a Jeffrey Pine forest towards the eastern part of San Diego in the Laguna mountains. There is nothing like waking up to the sunrise in these mountains in one of the rustic lodges or cabins situated all way along the mountain. The Place is surrounded by dense forests and is very ideal for people looking around for camping and some serious adventure in the woods.

The Laguna Mountain recreational area is a place reserved for all the recreational activities for the people here. This peak is one of the places in San Diego which receives snowfall from around November to sometimes till June making it one of the best times to visit the place. The winds and the snow give you chills so carrying your woolens is a must. Activities like snowboarding, sledding, and cross-country skiing are very common and sometimes get competitive as well.
