Diamond Water Park, Pune Overview

Diamond Water Park is a theme park located in Pune. It is a perfect attraction for recreational purposes where friends and families can head to hang out over the weekend and that too within city limits. People mostly visit the park during the summer season to escape the summer heat. Diamond Park also hosts corporate events, private parties, functions, school picnics and college outings. Bookings can be made in advance.

The theme park has several water rides and slides that visitors can enjoy at the water park. There are provisions for lockers, food, safety and entertainment too. The only drawback is that the rides are closed every day between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. They follow a strict dress code - people are supposed to wear swimsuits when entering the water. In case one forgets their suit, they can buy swimming costumes which are available for sale.

Things to do at Diamond Water Park, Pune

There are around 27 rides at the Diamond Water Park that include a Wave Pool, a Kiddies Pool, A Family Play Station and different kinds of slides. The kiddies pool is for children aged between 2 to 5 years, while the wave pool, the swimming pool, waterfalls, and the slides are for older children and adults. The Water Park is just one section of the theme park and it also houses an adventure park for those who don’t mind some more thrill.

If visitors are interested in heading to the adventure park, they can participate in Zorbing, Penalty Kick, Log Walk, Ziplining, Archery, Rock Climbing etc. Safety provisions are made at the adventure park for the guests to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience. Diamond Park also hosts other activities like music festivals, bonfires, night mountain treks, star gazing, barbeques, organic farm walk, day river treks and camping.

Diamond Water Park has a pirate and Hawaiian theme. The pool area is shallow and has a pirate ship, a wet bubble umbrella and slides. The surroundings have palm trees, cave-like structures with sculptures and fountains. The slides include an Octopus Slide and Multilane Slides where one can choose to slide solo or with a partner. The water park also has a canteen where meals and snacks are provided.

How To Reach Diamond Water Park

Diamond Water Park is located in Lohegaon, Pune. It is located about 8.2 kilometres from the Pune Airport, 19.1 kilometres from Shivajinagar Bus Stand and 16.6 kilometres from Pune Railway Station. Public transport in Pune is good enough to commute to the attraction. One can choose between an auto rickshaw, PMPML buses and rental cabs.

From the Pune Railway Station, one needs to head towards Station Road – Sadhu Vaswani Road – Raja Bahadur Motilal Road – Bund Garden Road – Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Setu – SH 60 – Tarakeshwar Chowk – Ramwadi Road – Airport Road – Vishrantwadi Lohegaon Road – Wagholi Lohegaon Road – MDR 55 – Diamond Water Park Road. The water park is 4.4 kilometres ahead.
