The best time to visit Napa Valley is between August and October, due to the harvest region. However, this is also the peak tourist season, so the prices on everything from accommodations to attractions are a lot higher than normal. August is the rainiest month of the year, and the other months tend to be a bit chillier.
November through February are quieter months, so the rates are cheaper. They get fairly busy around the time of the various festivals that occur, including the Napa Valley Film Festival in November and the Truffle Festival and Restaurant Week in January. June and July are also filled with various festivals in the summer heat.
