Giraffe Centre protects the endangered Rothschild's giraffe, of which fewer than 800 remain in the wild. A raised viewing platform puts you at eye level with the resident giraffes, so you can hand-feed them directly, closer than most wildlife encounters in Africa allow. Entry fees fund the conservation breeding programme.
At the Giraffe Centre, you can feed and watch giraffes from a special raised platform built to their height. While you're there, you might also see warthogs searching for food. After your giraffe encounter, you can unwind at the tea house or pick up souvenirs at the Daisy Souvenir Shop. It's important to know that most of the money to run the centre comes from entrance fees, the shop, and the tea house, so your visit directly helps support the conservation of these amazing animals.
