Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Nairobi Overview
Kenyatta International Conference Centre, in the heart of Nairobi, is best known for hosting official gatherings and conferences, but its rooftop helipad, open to visitors during business hours, gives the best 360-degree view of the city, including a clear line of sight to Mt. Kenya on a clear day. The building mixes colonial-era and modern African architectural styles.
The KICC offers guided tours for about 1 to 2 hours, providing insights into the building's history and significance. The brilliant edifice displays a wonderful mix of olden and modern African architecture. Standing over City Square on City Hall Way, the building has a distinct viewing stage, specifically made for tourists to offer the most fantastic views of the city. The rooftop of one of the tallest structures in the capital gives a full 360-degree coverage of Nairobi from where you can even spot the high Mt. Kenya.
