Located in Se, Macau, the Macau Tower is the epicentre of shopping, entertainment and adventure in the bustling city. With a height of 338 metres, the tower dominates the skyline and is one of the most prominent landmarks in the city. The giant Macau Tower, also known as Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Centre, boasts grand observation decks, fine dining restaurants, exclusive theatres, plush shopping malls and a thrilling skywalk. Climb the top at sundown and give in to the magnificent views of Macau night sky.

The Macau Tower is not only an observation and entertainment centre; it also plays a major role in broadcasting and telecommunication. It was designed by Gordon Moller, a renowned architect from New Zealand. Presently, Macau Tower has become so popular that it attracts millions of people every year. It is has been a major photoshoot venue for America's Next Top Model. It was also featured on ‘An Idiot Abroad 3’, a British comedy television series and Running Man, a South Korean show.

Macau Tower Observations Decks

Observation Lounge: Enjoy the changing hues of the skyline from the observation lounge on the 58th floor. Take a leisurely stroll around the lounge and get a glimpse of the Pearl River Delta on a clear, sunny day. Watching the dazzling display of lights at night is a must.

Adventure Deck: The level 61 Adventure Deck is a haven for thrill-seekers. It is the highest point in the tower that is accessible to the general public. From here, one can savour the bird’s eye view of the city. On a clear day, up to 55 kilometres is visible.

VIP SkyHigh: Step on to the VIP SkyHigh and surrender to the cool breeze while sipping a cup of hot latte. Look down and feel on top of the world.

Telescope Cards: To take the adventure to the next level, interactive telescopes are installed in the Observation Lounge. Bungy Jump: The 233 metres Macau Tower Bungy Jump is reputed as the highest commercial bungy jump across the globe and has made to the Guinness Book of Record. There is also an option for night bungy. The activity is performed under the guidance of experts.

Sky Jump: Another thrilling activity at the Macau Tower is the Sky Jump. This is a nice experience and something less challenging when compared to bungy jumping. It involves jumping off from the same height of 233 metres but unlike bungy jumping, the jump is in in a standing position. There are two kinds of jump options – single and tandem.

Skywalk: Take a stroll around the rim of Macau Tower and look at the world that is spread beneath the feet. The walkway is only 1.8 metres wide and there is no handrail for support. Don’t worry, you will be safely harnessed and the activity will be performed under expert guides.

 Macau Creations: Opened in 2013, Macau Creations aim at preserving the typical Macau lifestyle and showcases the culture to the world. They promote the work of local artists who produce different Macanese items such as fashion accessories, stationery items, T-shirts, cups and more.

ISA: With the first flagship store in Macau Tower, ISA is the hub of premium shopping brands. From Gucci, Prada to Armani, Dunhill and Fendi, one will find everything under the roof. Even the staff is knowledgeable and willing to help customers with their queries.

Toys’R’Us: Reputed as the largest toy store in Macau, Toys’R’Us is the one-stop shopping destination for buying toys. This particular outlet in Macau Tower sprawls over an area of 15,000 square feet and is a haven for the little ones. Happy Corner: This is an initiative taken by an NGO that sells local handicrafts made by differently-abled individuals. The money is used for charity and increasing the allowance of people with disabilities.

Started in 2011, Mocha is a slice of heaven for gamers from every nook and cranny. No wonder, this gaming store is the highlight of Macau Tower. Covering an area of 20,000 square feet coupled with state of the art gaming machines, it can keep one entertained for hours.

360 Degrees Cafe: End the day at the Macau Tower with delicious food and mesmerizing view at the 360 Degrees revolving Cafe. This restaurant specialises in Indian, Portuguese and seafood delicacies. 360 Degrees Cafe revolves fully every one and a half hours giving you a truly majestic experience. Advance reservations are strongly recommended to avoid the hassle.

Tromba Rija: Originally a local butcher and wine shop, Trombo Rija started its operation in a small Portuguese village. Today, the business expanded to Asia with its first restaurant in Macau Tower. Tromba Rija has remained true to its origin by imbibing the rustic design with simple decor and extraordinary food. Do not forget to grab a plate of feijoada (a stew of beans and meat) when you are here. It is highly recommended to make reservations in advance.
