LA Louver, Los Angeles Overview

LA Louver is a contemporary art gallery in Los Angeles, California. This art gallery was established in 1975 in Venice, California. It is situated on North Venice Boulevard, amid Pacific Avenue and the beach. An 8,000 sq. ft. building, designed by architect Frederick Fisher encompasses the LA Louver gallery. This is a prominent art gallery that is devoted to American-European modern art via an exclusive exhibition program of manifesting artworks by International & local (Los Angeles-based) modern artists.

The site has an array of artworks by leading artists. Some of the artists featured here are Rina Banerjee, Tony Bevan, Deborah Butterfield, Ken Price, & others. LA Louver Gallery has its online shop offering its publications and other exclusive merchandise for sale. 

The gallery also organizes a variety of shows or events occasionally. Some notable past shows hosted by this gallery are David Hockney, Shaping Color, Matt Wedel, etc. An authorized parking facility is available at the parking area lying directly across the street from the gallery. The gallery has additional annual holiday closures at Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Year's Day.
