"Second Home for Lots of Loved Birds and Animals"

Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary, Las Vegas Overview

The 500 acre sanctuary is home to several exotic birds and domestic animals when their owners cannot care for them. They take great care of these animals and also teach the public about these species. Since it is not a wildlife facility, they are not allowed to take birds like ducks, geese, hummingbirds, quail, pigeons, doves, owls, or hawks. There is an amphitheater that is perfect for picnics, parties, and gatherings like yoga or birthdays. Visitors can also attend seasonal events, private tours, and animal wellness, classes. They also provide educational and recreational activities for the public daily.
