Taman Anggrek Mall, Jakarta Overview
Taman Anggrek Mall translates to "Orchid Garden Mall" which is named so because there used to be a huge orchid garden at the site of the mall before it was built. It is home o more than 500 specialized stores spread across seven floors and an ice-skating rink, Southeast Asia's first indoor ice rink.
The mall also has 10 exhibition areas to host major events. In 2015, the mall started an annual event for Design students called ‘Jakarta in Motion’. Taman Anggrek Mall also holds the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest LED light display.
