Hotel Aapno started off as a restaurant in 1995 and has ever since been an epitome of Rajasthani rural culture. The resort developed around it gradually giving it the look and feel of an ethnic village. Sprawling over a vast 5 acres of lush green land area in a manner of a traditional Rajasthani style and decor, the resort is now one of the big names and is synonymous with the Rajasthani culture. The mud and thatch huts and accomodation give a rustic feel to the set up. Besides, every week a traditional fair is held within the premises to celebrate replete with folk dances and songs to capture the true essence of the local culture. The artists also exhibit the local arts and crafts to revive the long lost splendour and glory of the bygone era.

In addition to that, the magnificent dining hall reminds one of the royalty of the olden times. Here mouth watering delectable food is served in the manner of Manuhaar. Besides this, there is also a Haveli in the premises which has an elaborate exhibit of the arms, utensils and ancient locks in a kind of a museum setup.
